Who Invented a Limousine?

After some research I was not able to find the roots of this invention. Here’s my shot at how they got invented, from chunks of information gathered at different sources

It seems there was no sole inventor and the idea developed itself, as first car carriers services wanted to differentiate.

First limos were regular sedans used to transport the rich and the wealthy. A couple of models were made longer than usual in order to have more space. As the time went on making longer models became standard, hence first limos were being born.

As time went by transport companies wanted to take the experience to the new level. My guess would be, one guy had a bright idea of making vehicles extra long - to give more charm to the passengers. Everyone picked up on it later on.

It seems logical, because good ideas are usually seeded by one person, through many sources. As it becomes more acceptable, the source itself becomes irrelevant, so is our unfortunate inventor of a limousine.
