Here’s a line up of beautiful Porsche limos and the all new 4 door Porsche Panamera.

Porsche Cayenne has become the classic limousine. In fact, 95% of all Porsche limos are made from Cayenne. But Cayenne is not pure Porsche. It has VW motor and shares some components with VW Torque. Regardless, you have to agree - it still looks good.

This is a pure Porsche 911 limo. The interior is a bit old, because the model is from the 80s, but it still got that magical vibe no other limo has - it’s pure race car. This baby is located in the states. Too bad we don’t have one.

New Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is a four-door, four-seat sedan, currently in design stage, set to be launched in 2009.It will be front-engined and rear wheel drive and powered by a modified version of the 4.5 L V-8 found in the Cayenne, equipped with the FSI system as used by Volkswagen (Porsche and Volkswagen collaborated on the Cayenne/Touareg sport utility vehicle platform). Base spec models will be engineered with a 3.6 liter V-6 found in the 2008 facelifted Cayenne, and there is even a hybrid version[3] in the pipeline. Rumors suggest that the V-10 engine from Porsche’s limited-run Carrera GT supercar may be offered as well, although this is still extremely unlikely given the expense of manufacturing the engine and that Porsche does not currently have a facility capable of producing a suitable number of the V-10 engines per year. A rumor is also around that the V-12 diesel from the Audi Q7 could make it into the Panamera. - Wikipedia

On the back of the limo on the top, you will see a command control center. From there you will control interior lights, music and different lights themes. The interior itself lightens up in various colors, so if you have a party in mind you can get a limo to match it. You can also turn off the fancy lights and drive conservative. it’s up to you.

Exotic, Beautiful, Weird and Ugly Limousines!

This is second Ferrari Limo we spotted. This one is older and looks like a more expensive model than the black Ferrari limo. Unfortunately there aren’t any interior pictures of this 300 km/hr beast. The car is in Germany, so Canadians won’t get to enjoy Ferrari Rides. Unfortunately.

This is an old grandfather, in a coma. He’s in coma because he cant ride any longer but he still has what used to be a glorious body. Rust, plants and rain are slowly putting end to his heartbeats. His remains will remind us of of a beautiful limo legacy. How many happy families started their journey in this limo How many weren’t so happy? What celebrities enjoyed its comforts? A sad story.

Scion is the new breed in cars. Its brand got a long way to go, but it’s being aggressive in its marketing tactics. The 3 hotties, Mercedes, Jaguar and Lexus have $400,000+ sedans, produced only in hundreds. Though they make less than 0.5% of their profits, those cars accomplish 30% of their marketing and put a luxury face on whatever comes from their factories. Scion tried similar tactics. Looks cute.

This guy looks like he’s gonna run over something. Very aggressive, tank-like face and massive body give it “don’t mess with me” style. Made from a GMC truck, this truck can run over Civic without passengers feeling it!

An amateur take at the limo! Not bad. It’s a bit ugly, but you can’t complain if it was your husband who made it! Double wheels are to support extra weight for all the family trips.

Are you green? We’re feeling like it! This battery looking limo has… batteries in it! That’s precisely the round stuff in it’s body, An oversized duracell painted gray. It not quite a limo, since it doesn’t have seats for passengers, but it sure looks like one. The car itself looks a lot a like a green Mercedes. The guess is - this is a modified version of the mini Mercedes.

Do the best you can with what you got! This guy certainly did. He took an uneventful, dull and regular minivan and turned it into an appealing limo ride. Though it doesn’t service passengers it does a good job at riding family to the beach.

How to make a limousine?

Limousines in Montreal and around the world are not made by auto companies but are adjusted by private companies. The level of complexity in building a limousine involves welders, interior fabricators, engineers, mechanics, and safety professionals

The first step is cutting the car into 2 pieces. Before that of course, everything is taken out and disconnected, such as transmission, wiring interior and other vital pieces.

The next step is raw cutting! Imagine a white Escalade being cut into two pieces! Heart attack scenery.

After limousine is cut, it is time for the labour. The trickiest part is extending mechanical components, since limo depends on smooth movement. The safety and smoothness of the ride is key here. Once mechanics are through, it is the design time.

The exterior portion is carefully crafted and hammered in at precise points to maintain the smoothness of the stretch, without visible joints and connectors. At this point the body is unpainted so the back and the front are different in colour to the middle portion. Next step is painting, which is similar to all other auto paint jobs.

The interior pieces a ordered separately. There is actually a mini industry of interior providers to the limos. The leather, lightings and other components. It’s a matter of creativity and budget at this point.

A lot of tough work down the road and limo is finished for style and prestige!
