FEB 17 to March 4 Montreal will be hosting annual Light Festval at Old Port (OLD Montreal).

To celebrate a first decade of urban winter pleasures, organizers of the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival wanted to invite the city to a special event of spectacular proportions. Mission accomplished: the Festival gets its wish, throwing a major blowout to mark its opening Saturday, proudly inviting Montrealers and tourists to the 10th Anniversary High Lights Event, presented by Hydro-Québec on February 21, starting at 9 p.m.

Montreal All Nighter - Montrealers love winter so much that they spend the night outdoors! The Montreal All-Nighter - increasingly popular with every successive year thanks to a compelling blend of art, culture and nightlife - now includes over 165 original and unique activities, spread over three districts and two new areas. All locations are linked by a free shuttle service provided in collaboration with the STM. The Montreal All-Nighter also gets the party started for 15 sister-cities hosting their own all-nighters around the world. Montrealers have taken the party to heart, with over 200,000 flocking out to last year’s bash. Join them when two weeks’ worth of MONTREAL HIGH LIFE Festival activities climax in the 6th edition of the Montreal All- Nighter, from Saturday, February 28 through Sunday, March 1.

Pole topples down on limousine

A light pole came crashing down onto a limousine on Albany and East Berkeley Streets Saturday. The pole came loose and toppled over, landing on a stretched out hummer. The driver of that limo told 7News it was fortunate he did not have anyone in the car, and that he is angry that this happened and thinks whoever is responsible for the pole should pay. - 7 News Boston

Everyone is 100% OK. Unfortunately there are not pictures of the accident.

The Party is Just Beginning!

I am delighted to be able to tell my many devoted readers that the Presidential campaign we all so enjoyed is far from over; indeed, it is just beginning. An incredibly reliable and very high ranking White House informant, who spoke to me on condition of absolute anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly, angrily denounced persistent rumors that when President Obama travels to Denver, Illinois on Tuesday, 17 February 2009 to discuss his economic plan, he will throw many thousands of hundred dollar bills to the multitudes from his limousine. Those rumors are absolutely false. They are malicious, harmful to the country. - BC Politics

It’s funny how publications rave about none sense, creating noise and distracting readers from realities of fascist banking system which is designed to put everyone into debt (forever), while consolidation physical world assets through crisis, depression and wars. A who cares, there’s a white house actor spending money on limos.. read that.

Montreal Limo is extremely happy to announce that a new car will be joining our vast fleet of vehicles. Most likely it will Lincoln Navigator, but we’re not sure at the moment.

Why are we getting a new limo?

It was a blessing in disguise. Here’s the story:

Our driver Joel (aka the Cowboy) was coming back to the garage from (customer was already dropped off home). He was driving safely on the road, when a truck from behind smashed his limo! The truck destroyed half of the car, leaving Joel confused, shocked and scared. He is 100% OK(probably driving right now), and truck driver is OK as well, however, our limo got completely destroyed.

Being a leader in Montreal, our limos are fully licensed and insured, so we called the insurance company, send them a picture of the crashed car and they guaranteed a new vehicle!

It will most likely be new 2009 Lincoln Navigator, yet we’re not sure.

Mercedes is testing new E - class limo and spy reporters were able to obtain some photos. The limo is camouflaged, but we clearly see lines of this car. The new version of the E Class model was released at Detroit Auto show and mercedes prepares to release stretched version of the car.

The car is in early stages of testing according to Motor Authority. There\s little we know about this new vehicle, however it will most like be powered by a larger engine then regular E-Class models.

Mercedes Limos are mostly used in Europe and are rarely found in North America, usually due to higher costs then other limos.

Formula 1 Limousine

Posted In: News by Limo Team

It had to happen. If Hummer limousines are okay, why not an open-wheeled race car? And believe it or not, this odd-looking road rocket is street legal. We can’t wait to put on our helmets and go for a ride, hoping for a sunny day — because those raindrops must inflict a fierce sting at 300mph. - Dvice

This exotic limo is made from a real formula 1 vehicle. It was cut in half, stretched and modified to carry six passengers instead of one. With added length there should be a loss in speed, but this car still reaps amazing 300mph (482kmh).

Honor roll students get limo ride, lunch

Long County students were treated like royalty on Jan. 23 for continuing to do well on their report cards. The sixth-eighth grade students at Walker Middle School had maintained A averages in every subject through the first and second semesters of the school year. So the school had a limousine and driver pick the kids up at 11 a.m. and take them to Jesup to eat all their stomachs could hold at the Western Sizzlin lunch buffet. - coastalcourier.com

Lucky kids got to ride in a H2 white Hummer super stretch. Expenses are on school and administration hopes to inspire other kids to perform better in class if they want a free ride and a delicious lunch.

Thousands of limos traveling to D.C.

The National Limousine Association surveyed operators in the 300 mile radius of D.C. — which spans the boundaries of Connecticut, North Carolina and Ohio — and found that about 3,600 sedans and limos are driving to D.C. - Business Journal

The trade group is one of the biggest in the world, with more than 2000 members over the world. Members include limo owners, suppliers, manufacturers and limo associations.
