Hollywood stars in privacy panic after limo firm admits taping them

STARS including Uma Thurman and Britney Spears were secretly videotaped by their chauffeurs, it has been revealed. One of the biggest limousine service firms in New York have admitted taping a host of celebrities as they were driven through Manhattan. Now, the stars fear their private conversations, either with fellow passengers or while on mobile phones, could be leaked. A source said: “There is a list of celebrities fearing the worst. “No one knows how far back the tapes go but they are all extremely concerned about what they show and, more importantly, what can be heard.- Daily Record

Limo Driver Accused Of Menacing City Worker

PORTLAND, Ore. — A limo driver is dealing with fines after he was accused of shoving a Portland city worker.Mary Volm said she was on her motorized scooter at Southwest Taylor and Broadway streets last week when the limousine in front of her began backing up. Volm said she slapped the side of the limo, and that’s when the driver got out and yelled at her and shoved her off her scooter.The driver, Ronald Johnson, got a ticket for harassment and menacing. - FOX 12

Porsche Cayenne has become the classic limousine. In fact, 95% of all Porsche limos are made from Cayenne. But Cayenne is not pure Porsche. It has VW motor and shares some components with VW Torque. Regardless, you have to agree - it still looks good.

This is a pure Porsche 911 limo. The interior is a bit old, because the model is from the 80s, but it still got that magical vibe no other limo has - it’s pure race car. This baby is located in the states. Too bad we don’t have one.

New Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is a four-door, four-seat sedan, currently in design stage, set to be launched in 2009.It will be front-engined and rear wheel drive and powered by a modified version of the 4.5 L V-8 found in the Cayenne, equipped with the FSI system as used by Volkswagen (Porsche and Volkswagen collaborated on the Cayenne/Touareg sport utility vehicle platform). Base spec models will be engineered with a 3.6 liter V-6 found in the 2008 facelifted Cayenne, and there is even a hybrid version[3] in the pipeline. Rumors suggest that the V-10 engine from Porsche’s limited-run Carrera GT supercar may be offered as well, although this is still extremely unlikely given the expense of manufacturing the engine and that Porsche does not currently have a facility capable of producing a suitable number of the V-10 engines per year. Dan Crawley, builder and owner of the hottest limousine in the world is selling his superstretch Ferrari on eBay for $250,000. The car is located in UK and only sells to US, but i’m pretty sure he’ll respond to offers from other countries.

This limousine also encountered some problems with Ferrari lawyers, who were upset their car was modified. We did an article: Ferrari vs Den.

The limo is a Modena 360, 2000 model. Dan cut this beauty in half and inserted 9 feet extension to produce the limo. According to him there’s no loss of speed or acceleration and car maintained it’s racing characteristics. From the video: “When bride and grom arrive, no one is taking pictures of them, but Ferrari limousine.”
