“Innovation is another hallmark of the PBS. It employs cutting-edge technologies to their best advantage: the entire system is solar-powered and uses wireless communication.”

The entire system works with best technology and you can rent a bike at any station in Montreal. Each bike is RFID tracked, so it doesn’t get lost.

Are you planning to rent a limo? Why not get a bike? :)

Jokes aside. Is Montreal government looking deep into the future? Gas prices keep going up, with many incidents of Montrealers suing gas companies for overcharging. Now imagine gas at $4 per liter? Bikes don’t look that bad, plus you get good exercise.

Visit Public Bike System website.

If biking is not your preferred method of transportation we offer luxurious limousines at $125 and $150 per hour. You can learn more over here.

Fête nationale du Québec Holiday

Posted In: News by Limo Team

Fête nationale du Québec Holiday

Fête nationale du Québe is a holiday in the honor of St. John the Baptist. Quebequers celebrate it on June 23 and 24th every year and it is a province wide day off.

On this day Montrealers take to the streets with blue and white flags and celebrate their French heritage.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and other federal party leaders are celebrating Quebec history Tuesday by taking in Fete Nationale festivities around the Montreal area.
Harper is speaking at a barbecue in the city’s south shore suburb of Longueuil. Liberal Leader Stephane Dion is attending a reception hosted by Montreal Mayor Gerald Tremblay. He will also appear at an afternoon picnic. Meanwhile, NDP Leader Jack Layton will take part in the city’s St-Jean-Baptiste Day parade. - CTV.ca

Fête nationale du Québe started in 1834 by Mr. Ludger Duvernay who became the president of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society. After attending St. Patrick’s Day in Montreal, Ludger Duvernay came up with an idea for similar celebration of French heritage. On June 24th, 1834 was the first Fête nationale du Québe parade. After it, Mr. Ludger stated:

Cette fête dont le but est de cimenter l’union des Canadiens ne sera pas sans fruit. Elle sera célébrée annuellement comme fête nationale et ne pourra manquer de produire les plus heureux résultats.”(”This holiday, whose goal is to solidify the union of the Canadiens, will not be without bearing fruit. It will be celebrated annually as a national holiday and will not go without producing the happiest results.”) - wikipedia

You can attend Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day in a luxury Lincoln Navigator Limo or Lincoln Towncar limousine. For more information, please explore our website.

Montreal’s Cirque du Soleil Gets Bid Approaches

“Cirque du Soleil, a Montreal-based acrobatic circus troupe, received bid approaches, including one that may be from Dubai-based investors, the Daily Telegraph said, without saying where it got the information.Offers could value the 24-year-old closely held company at about 1 billion pounds ($1.95 billion), the newspaper said. Nakheel PJSC, the developer building man-made islands off Dubai’s coastline, has agreed to build a permanent Cirque theater on the Palm Jumeirah island, the Telegraph said.” - Bloomberg

Montreal cirque will be migrating to Saudi Arabia? Cirque du Soleil is one of the most gorgeous cirques in the world and it looks like a Saudi prince wants a part of Montreal in his backyard.

Montreal develops a unique and innovative Public Bike System: A North American first

“Montreal is well on its way to becoming the first city in North America to develop a bicycle network that helps address some of the problems related to the ever-growing use of cars in urban areas. With these problems in mind, Stationnement de Montréal created the innovative Public Bike System (PBS), which it will also manage. The system includes bikes, technical platforms, bike docks, pay stations and proprietary software that runs it all.” - CNW Group

Good news if you have a bike. Even better if you’re a car driver. Bikers are always approached with caution by everyday drivers and limousines. Just passing by next to the bikes gives most drivers chills of almost hitting the poor guy. Lets hope a dedicate biker system will clear up the roads.

Canadian Auto Workers official says protest at GM plant in Oshawa, Ontario, ends on time

A Canadian Auto Workers official says an almost two-week-long blockade at a GM Canada plant in Oshawa, Ontario, is over. - Herald Tribune

Ex-biggest American employer GM is closing another manufacturing plant in America, this time in Canada. It aims to close it by 2009 at a cost of 2,600 jobs. Workers and activists took it to the streets, but were ordered by court to stay quiet. Can courts do that? They shouldn’t. About a month ago Toronto TTC went on strike. It didn’t last long. A flick of a pen put everyone back to work!

GM is the manufacturer of Hummers, one of the most popular limos in the world.

Montreal Limo, Lincoln Navigator Review

Want a navigator limo in Montreal? Here’s a review of our beautiful Lincoln Navigator limousine.

Lincoln Navigator

It is a modified version of the original Lincoln Navigator. It was cut in half, extended and transformed into a limousine. The drivers seat stayed as it was, but everything you get is different.

On the outside, Lincoln Navigator vibes of prestige and class. The long curves and a slick front face give an appealing look all our passengers appreciate. It’s very presentable for weddings, proms, personal or corporate transportation.

Lincoln Navigator - Inside The Carriage

You’re going to be inside and we take mad care to ensure you love it. There are two colors available

  • White Leather
  • Black Leather

(please call couple of days in advance if you need a specific interior colour, so it’s ready for you)

White Leather

The leather is pure. On one side of the Navigator limousine interior you will find a bar with glasses, Champaign holders with ice, napkins and snacks. On the back of the limo on the top, you will see a command control center. From there you will control interior lights, music and different lights themes. The interior itself lightens up in various colors, so if you have a party in mind you can get a limo to match it. You can also turn off the fancy lights and drive conservative. it’s up to you.

Longest Limousines

Posted In: limousines by Limo Team

Longest Limousines

Here are some of the longest limousines in the world.

longest limo

This is one is capable to transfer passengers safely. It can fit over 15 people and it looks beautiful! The double wheels on the back add it extra charm other limousines do not have.

Long limousine

This one is amazing! I am not sure if this is photoshop or a real picture. It does not look capable of not only transferring people, but driving on a regular road! Either someone had a lot of fun with Photoshop or just got very creative and created longest limo in the world. Here’s is another picture of the same limo:

Ron Paul Limo

Ron Paul Limo

Ron Paul fan decided to make a limo in his honor! The model looks like a Chrysler 300, with a pick up modification. It’s hard to tell at this point. It looks like the front is custom and the car itself is regular sedan, modified as a pick up. The owner claims it is the longest limo in US, but the pictures above proves it wrong(if they’re real)
